Mark was excellent to deal with from the first moment when we discussed the requirements and budget for my party. He came with a member of staff to hand round delicious canapes, and the paella and salads were both plentiful and flavoursome. Mark liaised directly with the venue, and was extremely professional throughout. I wouldn't hesitate to use Man with a Pan again - Mark made my 50th birthday absolutely hassle free, and the food delivered was of a high quality. Thanks Mark.

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! Mark and his wonderful team did an amazing job at our party. The food was truly delicious (so many people commented on how yummy the canapes and paella both were), and the waitresses and bar team did an AMAZING job at keeping the drinks flowing. Man with a Pan have done two family events for us this year and both were excellent, the first was a paella selection and the second was Thai food. All food was delicious.
Mark and his team are very professional and the whole process is so easy from the booking phase through the food service, to the way they clear up afterwards. It makes entertaining very easy and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Man with a Pan. I’m sure we’ll book them again.

Mark was so helpful throughout the planning process, the food was exceptional and beautifully presented and the staff were really experienced and made the whole day run smoothly! A really great catering option that offers something a bit different with exceptional service. We contacted Mark to provide the catering for our winter wedding in December in Windsor. Communication was brilliant, so easy to work with and the food was outstanding! It was absolutely freezing yet Mark and his team were so lovely and upbeat. The menu designed was perfect. Our wedding was actually in December (sorry for the delay in writing this review!) but our friends still comment how amazing the food was!
If I ever host another event, I will be contacting Man with a pan!

As a couple who went in very blind to the wedding planning process, Mark was flexible and and very helpful from the start - providing suggestions reasoned with his experience. He was also able to make changes and requests quite late on, and made time for zooms calls to confirm leading up to the day that everything was as we would like it.
As for the food, it was absolutely what we'd hoped - everyone we spoke with complimented the food at our wedding. We had had a vegetarian and meat paella (chicken and chorizo), Beef Massaman curry, Green Thai Curry, a variety of salads, Quasadas for evening food (Pulled pork and jackfruit), and a variety of canapés. This menu catered for a variety of dietary requirements across the board (dairy allergies, nut allergies, egg allergies, gluten intolerance, etc.), and nothing fell flat - even my aunt who prefers a raw diet had plenty of tasty salads to choose from. Highly recommended!
Lastly to add, we had this wedding booked on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year - and all staff continued as friendly and professional. Thank you Man with a Pan for helping us to get our day right!

We hired the MWAP team for our wedding reception, which we held at home. In the build up, Mark was responsive and incredibly flexible with menu choices, and was very clear and upfront on the cost and payment structure. All dietary requirements were catered for (including some very niche ones beyond the usual standard of GF, vegan etc), and it was great to know that once the menu had been chosen and the right details given, Mark and his team were all ready to go leaving us to focus on organising everything else for the day.
On the day itself, the team were incredibly flexible to our schedule, including arriving early to ensure house access while we were out doing the legal bit. It will not have been easy, setting up all their equipment and doing all the cooking on our inclined driveway immediately adjacent to a busy road (leading to a few questions from passers-by, I'm sure) but the team handled it all in their stride and put on some incredible canapes, a great BBQ lunch (the pulled pork burgers are amazing!) and fantastic paella dinner (where many people snuck back for seconds).
We cannot recommend MWAP enough, and it took so much stress out of the day just being able to let them crack on as professionals with what they do best. Thank you!!

We booked man with a pan for our wedding and we would highly recommend them! We got so many comments saying the food was delicious!
They were able to cater a completely gluten free menu which was important to me as a coeliac, and they were able to cater for a range of allergens from our guests.
The large pan system works really well for catering for large numbers of people as it's very quick to go up and collect your food. The staff at man with a pan were excellent at caring for the elderly and less mobile, offering to collect food for them and making sure they were looked after. We combined the sit down meal with the buffet style and it worked really well, still felt very classy and saved us money on waiting staff!
The large pan system also means we didn't have to ask people for menu choices in advance which made it really easy on the day for our guests and for us.
The staff also made sure me and my partner got enough food with a dedicated member of staff being us canapes and drinks! Very valuable as we were so busy on the day it can be easy to forget to eat!

Where do I start.. Mark and his team at Man with a Pan provided the best food for our wedding. They went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble they all had great service and were really friendly. We had lovely canapés, chicken and chorizo paella with Mac and cheese for the evening everything was delicious. All of our guests said how lovely all the food was and everyone ended the night with full bellies and smiles on their faces!

Brilliant for our wedding! People loved the variety of the food, the portions were great and presentation of the desserts were lovely. They were very professional and Mark was great at communicating and offering lots of different options. I would definitely use Man with a Pan again for another event!

Everyone loved the food with lots of comments from guests that it was best food that they had ever been served at a wedding.
The front of house team were brilliant, doing anything they could to help make the day run smoothly.
The chefs under the marquee did an incredible job keeping it all together, despite facing 50mph wind, and served up a brilliant BBQ.
Mark behind the scenes was always willing to accommodate our requests and enable our day to be as special as it could be.

Excellent service from Mark and his team. We hired him for a wedding reception in a marquee in the garden. We had 3 different paellas for lunch with salads and in the evening he produced some of the nicest burgers I've had for the evening meal. Super friendly staff and really helpful waiting staff. Fast and efficient set up and break down of the pop up kitchen. Would definitely hire them again in the future.

We hired Mark and the team for our wedding, where they served canapes and 3 types of tapas. I was so impressed with the food and service. There was so much leftover! Emily was our server for the day and she was so attentive to our every need. Once we (bride and groom) arrived to the house, she greeted us with prosecco and our own tray of canapes so we could mingle with our guests and not miss out on canapes. We also had evening good with them so there was no fuss with switching over suppliers. The burgers were DELIGHTFUL!
They provided cutlery and plates as well so no need to search elsewhere for them.

Husband booked this company for a garden party to celebrate my birthday. I hardly noticed as they came quietly, set up, fed everyone, cleared all rubbish and disappeared discretely. Feedback from quests was excellent, all the food was ready at once so no queues and we ate the leftovers for 2 lunches after the party. We had chicken and chorizo paella, vegetarian paella and a pan of prawns. My favourite was the chicken and chorizo plus prawns. Sorry I didn’t thank the guys in person but was caught up with friends which goes to show how discrete they were. Big thank you to the guys who came on 29th May! Highly recommend this company.

Mark & his team catered for my wedding, for which we had a BBQ lunch for our ceremony guests and pan meals in the evening for our reception. The food was incredible, all of our guests commented on how amazing it was! All dietary requirements were catered for, especially vegans which was an important factor for us. Communication with Mark in the lead up to the day was excellent, including changes we made to the menu choices. As our reception venue was off-grid, the fact that our menu choices were possible without mains power was a primary reason for choosing Man with a Pan. As we were very busy on the day, and weren't actually on site when Mark arrived to set up, everything was sorted behind the scenes and helped our day to run so smoothly, which was very much appreciated! We thoroughly recommend Man with a Pan for relaxed, friendly, delicious outdoor catering!

The staff on the day were incredible. They were engaging with our guests and ensured that everything ran smoothly.
